Winston is the pup we had imported from Germany at 6 months of age. He is a long-coated puppy from one of the top performance kennels in Germany: the Peroh Kennel. The Peroh shepherds represent our ideal Great in terms of health and working ability, combined with unmatched beauty.
This German Shepherd breeding program in Germany produced many WUSV and BSP winners. His grandfather is Vucan von Peroh, the World Championship winner. He also carries the father of Vucan von Peroh, Lennox von Fenthhill, twice on his mother’s and father’s side in the pedigree as a 3-4 line breeding on this outstanding champion.
His mother, Atenagardens Zascha, is 3-3 line breeding on the champion Jucan von Peroh. So this young dog represents a blend of two of Peter Rhode’s most famous dogs: Vucan von Peroh and Jucan von Peroh. We feel so fortunate to have him. His temperament is one of calm affection coupled with plenty of drive to be a fun working dog. He is very regal in character as well as beauty, and he is my companion and protector. We look forward to having him father many of our future puppies!
